The Atlanta Falcons have announced their inactives for the opening game versus the Minnesota Vikings.
They are as follows:
Offensive tackle Matt Gono was already previously ruled out because of a back injury, but a few surprises are defensive lineman Deadrin Senat and cornerback Jordan Miller. Both had strong preseasons, but it just seems like they are still a little bit away from seeing regular in-game action.
Running backs Brian Hill and Qadree Ollison both being inactive seems a bit off and shows the Falcons are likely looking to pass the ball more today. Jamon Brown being inactive kind of puts into question his salary and acquisition this offseason. Wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus isn’t likely to be active unless he eventually wins a returner job.
