Falcons Twitter weighs in on Marcus Mariota-Jalen Hurts debate

There are only 17 games in an NFL season, but the 24-hour news cycle requires those in the media to give opinions even when they have nothing to say. This can lead to some pretty hot/ridiculous takes on occasion.

Former No. 1 overall pick and current NFL Network analyst David Carr riled up fans this week when he suggested the Eagles should bench Jalen Hurts for former Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota.

It’s hard to imagine any scenario in which Mariota would be an upgrade over Hurts, but let’s see what Carr had to say.
