Falcons Twitter reacts to latest Justin Fields-to-Atlanta report

The Atlanta Falcons are in the market for a quarterback, which means NFL analysts are connecting the team to basically every QB available in the draft, free agency, or via trade. The most popular name that keeps coming up at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine is Bears quarterback Justin Fields.

Since Chicago is expected to draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick, Fields is on the trade block and the Falcons are the betting favorites. A new report from Sportskeeda’s Tony Pauline suggested the Falcons and Bears are “finalizing” a deal for Fields:

Word in Indianapolis is the Chicago Bears are close to finalizing a deal which would send former first-round pick Justin Fields to the Atlanta Falcons It is not known if the deal will be finalized or even announced before the conclusion of the Combine. As I reported on Thursday, if the Falcons can’t come to terms with the Bears for Fields they will turn their attention to Baker Mayfield if he’s available when free agency commences.

Falcons fans have been through the wringer after non-stop QB rumors over the last month. Let’s see how they reacted to the latest Fields-to-Atlanta report on Twitter.
