The Atlanta Falcons drafted cornerback A.J. Terrell in the first round with the idea that he could develop into the team’s No. 1 starter down the line. Now a few weeks into training camp, it’s clear Terrell is closer to being ready than most draft analysts predicted.
Whether it’s picking off quarterback Matt Ryan early in camp, or holding his own against wide receiver Julio Jones, the rookie isn’t backing down from the challenge.
