Falcons TE Austin Hooper earns elite PFF grade for Week 6 performance

The tight end position is one that Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter loves to utilize in his offense. Through six games in 2019, Austin Hooper leads this team with 480 receiving yards.

Hooper was especially impressive in Week 6, despite Atlanta’s 34-33 loss to the Cardinals. He caught all eight of his targets for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Pro Football Focus released its weekly player grades, and Hooper earned an elite PFF grade of 90.6 — which led all Falcons players.

Takk McKinley earned the team’s highest defensive grade (78.3) for his Week 6 performance. He got good pressure but recorded just two tackles and zero sacks for a struggling Falcons defense.

Atlanta will take on the L.A. Rams in Week 7, hoping to end a four-game losing streak.
