Falcons stadium worker had the most appropriate reaction to D.K. Metcalf’s touchdown

The Atlanta Falcons are bad — like, bottom-of-the-NFL bad.

And that didn’t change during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

With head coach Dan Quinn’s job in potential jeopardy ahead of the bye week, the Falcons probably needed a strong showing to make a case to owner Arthur Blank (not that it should matter). But, of course, the Falcons did what they’ve done all season: Go down double digits early and fail to stop opposing offenses.

But if you really needed a single image to sum up the Falcons’ 2019 season, just look at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium staffer as a WIDE OPEN D.K. Metcalf caught his second touchdown of the game.

And a closer look:

Yeah, it doesn’t get more appropriate than that. This dude, who was working the end zone, identified that Metcalf was left open before the Falcons defense even had a chance to react. If he can see that, why can’t Dan Quinn’s defense? This is a team beyond repair.

That score put the Falcons down 24-0 heading into halftime.
