Falcons sign CB off Eagles practice squad, place Johnathan Cyprien on IR

The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they are signing a player from the Eagles practice after a former Philadelphia safety was placed on injured reserve. Atlanta signed cornerback D.J. White off the Eagles practice squad and placed Johnathan Cyprien on the injured reserve.

White was signed by the Eagles last Monday. The Falcons acquired Cyprien and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in exchange for linebacker Duke Riley and a 2020 sixth-round pick in a trade with the Eagles last week.
