The Atlanta Falcons announced that rookie offensive tackle Kaleb McGary is undergoing a cardiac ablation procedure today. The team’s press release describes this as a minimally invasive procedure that McGary has had done before.
“The minimally invasive procedure is similar to two previous procedures McGary has undergone in his playing career and a potential recovery timetable is expected following the procedure.”
McGary was reported to become ill at Tuesday’s practice at ESPN, so it’s possible that this is related.
