Falcons rookie Kaleb McGary plays every snap in Week 3

One bright spot for the Falcons after a 27-24 loss to the Colts has been the progress of first-round pick Kaleb McGary. The rookie right tackle had been on somewhat of a minutes restriction after his offseason cardiac ablation procedure.

As you can see in the below tweet from ESPN’s Vaughn McClure, McGary played 100 percent of Atlanta’s offensive snaps in Week 3.

At 1-2 on the season, it’s been a grim start to the year for the Falcons. They had already lost starting guard Chris Lindstrom before Pro Bowl safety Keanu Neal went down with an Achilles tear against the Colts on Sunday.

As we pointed out earlier this morning though, the NFC South is still tight and Atlanta is far from out of it.
