One of the first things Arthur Smith did after landing the Falcons head-coaching gig was convince Dean Pees to come out of retirement and be his defensive coordinator.
Listening to Pees speak, it’s easy to see why players respond to him. He has a no-nonsense approach, a wealth of experience, and he can relate to his players on a human level.
