Falcons reassign WRs coach Raheem Morris to work with secondary

Despite a sixth-straight loss in Week 8 to the Seahawks, the Falcons chose not to make a head-coaching change during their bye in Week 9. Dan Quinn did announce one slight change, though, while talking to reporters on Monday.

Former Buccaneers head coach, and current Falcons assistant/wide receivers coach, Raheem Morris, will move to the defensive side of the ball to work closely with the secondary:

Morris was primarily known for his work as a defensive coach prior to coming to Atlanta. This isn’t the move fans were hoping for, but Morris can’t possibly make things any worse for a defense ranked No. 30 in points allowed per game, and No. 23 in passing yards allowed.

The Falcons are getting back to work as they prepare for their Week 10 matchup with the 7-1 New Orleans Saints.
