Falcons re-sign tight end Logan Paulsen to 1-year deal

The 2019 NFL draft class is strong at tight end. The Falcons apparently have no interest, though. Days after signing former Titans tight end Luke Stocker, Atlanta doubled down on blocking tight ends by re-signing veteran Logan Paulsen to a one-year deal, according to a release on the official team website.

Last season, Paulsen caught nine passes for 91 receiving yards and one touchdown. He’s more valuable as a blocker and extension of Dan Quinn’s coaching staff, though.

Moving forward, the team should be set at the position for 2019 with Austin Hooper, Stocker, Paulsen and Eric Saubert rounding out the No. 4 spot.
