Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier named game-day captain for Week 13

The Atlanta Falcons have named their game-day captain for Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets. Running back Tyler Allgeier will join the team’s five permanent captains in Week 13, per Falcons reporter Terrin Waack.

While Allgeier hasn’t had the success he did last season, that’s to be expected when you draft a running back in the first round. Allgeier rushed 10 times for 64 yards in Week 12.

For the season, the second-year running back has 135 carries for 466 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
