It’s only Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season, but already it feels as if the Falcons are in a must-win situation as they host the Eagles in their home opener.
According to this tweet from ESPN’s Field Yates, though, Atlanta should be feeling good about their chances tonight.
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has won ten of eleven home-opening games in his career. He has an impressive 24-touchdown to 5-interception ratio in those games, completing nearly 70 percent of his passes.
The Eagles present a tough challenge, but if history repeats itself, Ryan should be able to lead the Falcons to a Week 2 victory.
