Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is not only the league’s most underrated elite passer of this era, he’s also one of the NFL’s top clutch performers.
According to Pro Football Focus, Ryan led all players in fourth quarter passer rating last season at 113.0, beating out his division rival Drew Brees by a few points. Deshaun Watson, Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson rounded out the top five in this stat.
Ryan’s individual achievements are undeniably impressive. Despite rarely having even an average defense on his side, Ryan has managed to keep the Falcons competitive more often than not for the last decade.
