The Atlanta Falcons’ 29-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills was actually a bit closer than the final score would indicate. After leading at halftime, the Falcons made a costly mistake in the fourth quarter that essentially ended the game.
Quarterback Matt Ryan scrambled for what was initially ruled a touchdown, but not only was the play was overturned, Ryan received a taunting penalty that backed the team up 15 yards.
This is an absurd call in #Bills–#Falcons
Matt Ryan, obviously diving for the end zone, is ruled to be giving himself up. And then he taunted after scoring the touchdown, which was overturned, so they then lose 15 yards after the overturn.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Ryan has been fined $10,300 for his fourth-quarter taunting penalty.
The NFL fined #Falcons QB Matt Ryan $10,300 for taunting after a touchdown scramble in last week’s loss to the #Bills.
The TD was overturned on review, Atlanta eventually turned over the ball on downs … and now a fine on top of it for Ryan.

Fortunately, $10K is nothing for someone like Ryan, whose 2022 salary cap hit is over $48 million.
