Falcons open as 3-point underdogs for Week 7 matchup vs. L.A. Rams

After a heartbreaking one-point loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons have just one win after six games.

The team was thought to be a potential NFC contender in the offseason, but injuries, predictable play-calling and an offense and defense that can’t seem to show up in the same game have derailed Atlanta’s 2019 season.

According to BetMGM,the Falcons opened as three-point underdogs for their Week 7 matchup with the 3-3 Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

The Rams also had high expectations coming into 2019, but their struggles haven’t been nearly as disappointing as Atlanta’s. Los Angeles has one of the best passing offenses in the league, while Atlanta just let rookie Kyler Murray have his way with its secondary in Week 6.

Things could get ugly if the team is again without its No. 1 corner Desmond Trufant, as Dan Quinn suggested on Monday.

The Falcons and Rams face off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
