Atlanta heads into Week 4 reeling from a disheartening road loss to the Colts and a season-ending Achilles injury for safety Keanu Neal. On the bright side, the team they’re about to play isn’t very good.
According to BetMGM, the Falcons are five-point favorites against the Titans at home on Sunday.
Tennessee (1-2) has not been able to protect its franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota at all thus far. He’s been sacked 17 times through three games, including nine last week against the Jaguars. On the other hand, the Titans have a tough defense with play-makers at all three levels, especially the secondary.
That said, Atlanta should be able to take care of business at home against them. If they can’t, the Falcons will find themselves in a 1-3 hole, which would be precariously close to no-hope-of-making-the-playoffs territory.
