Falcons name LB Kaden Elliss game-day captain for Week 17

Kaden Elliss Falcons Arthur Smith Bears Kaleb McGary Terrin Waack Saints

The Atlanta Falcons (7-8) have named linebacker Kaden Elliss their game-day captain for Sunday’s matchup against the Chicago Bears (6-9).

Elliss will join the team’s five regular-season captains — Jessie Bates, Grady Jarrett, Chris Lindstrom, Kaleb McGary and Younghoe Koo — in Week 17, per team reporter Terrin Waack.

Linebacker Kaden Elliss is the Falcons’ sixth game-day captain for Week 17.

Elliss, who signed with the Falcons in free agency, has been an impact player on defense this season. The former Saints linebacker has 110 tackles and three sacks.

The Falcons released their inactives list on Sunday morning and right tackle Kaleb McGary will return after missing the last two games.
