The Falcons got off to a quick start and never let off the gas in their Week 10 win over the Saints. Defensively, it was the team’s best performance of the season.
Meanwhile, the offense did enough to win, thanks to the contributions of Younghoe Koo, Atlanta’s new kicker.
Matt Ryan kept the offense on the field but the team needed four field goals, including a 48-yarder from the 25-year-old Koo — which may have been the difference in the game.
Koo made both extra point attempts as well, making him a perfect 6-for-6 on Sunday. Although many were upset when the Falcons released veteran Matt Bryant last week, Koo’s performance has validated that move thus far.
