Falcons HC says DeSean Jackson is Atlanta’s biggest concern heading into Week 2 matchup

The Philadelphia Eagles head down south on Sunday night, to face the Falcons in a huge matchup that could bury Atlanta’s season before it even gets started. Falcons head coach Dan Quinn made his rounds with the media on Wednesday and made it clear that the DeSean Jackson, Carson Wentz connection is his teams biggest concern.

Jackson turned back the clock on Sunday, torching the Redskins for 154 receiving yards and two touchdowns, both going for 50+ yards each time. The statement was odd considering the Vikings only attempted 10 passes in last weeks contest.

Quinn should be concerned about the Eagles three-headed monster at running back, but maybe his comments were an indication of his overall concern for a beleaguered defense.

In last weeks contest, Kirk Cousins was 8 of 10, for 98 yards and one touchdown. Minnesota focused on the running game and the results were a fantastic effort from Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison. Cook had 111 yards on 21 carries, with two touchdowns. Mattison had nine carries for 49 yards. Both running backs averaged over five yards per carry on the afternoon.
