Falcons G Chris Lindstrom says he ‘can’t wait’ to attack his recovery

Falcons guard Chris Lindstrom broke his foot in the team’s Week 1 loss to the Vikings. The team’s first-round pick played nine snaps with the injury before coming out of the game, earning high praise from his teammates for his effort and toughness.

It’s no surprise Lindstrom is taking that same attitude towards his recovery. He tweeted out a thank you to Falcons fans and said he’s excited to attack his recovery.

Lindstrom is out at least eight weeks after being put on the injured reserve list. Reserve Jamon Brown is set to start in Lindstrom’s place at right guard when the Falcons take on the Eagles this Sunday night.
