Falcons DT Grady Jarrett after loss to Titans: ‘We have to get right’

Something is definitely wrong with the Falcons after an uninspiring 1-3 start to the 2019 season.

The team isn’t just losing, they are getting thoroughly outplayed until the game is out of reach. Atlanta has trailed big in three of its four games so far.

Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett is just as confused as everyone else. Following the game, he said the team needed to figure out what’s going on.

“We have to start better,” said Jarrett. “We get down early in the game and it’s unfortunate that we are in the position where we always have to fight back. I don’t even know if it’s an energy thing, it’s an execution thing to me. We [are] putting in work, on gameday we have to come out here and execute as a whole team. We have to get right.”

Yesterday’s loss was by far the worst of the year for the Falcons. They were outscored 24-10 by a Titans offense that’s pedestrian at best.

Already a quarter of the way into the season, the team won’t have much time to right the ship. Atlanta hits the road to take on the 2-2 Houston Texans in Week 5.
