In the wake of Tebow’s comments, which he made on Friday’s episode of ESPN’s First Take, many NFL players have since spoken out against him. Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn was one of them. He told Tebow to “kick rocks” on Twitter.
Tebow has the right to his opinion. However, critics of his argument have pointed out Tebow came from a financially stable situation. The same is not true for many student-athletes.
