Falcons coach Dan Quinn: ‘Trust me, I understand where we’re at’

Despite another humiliating loss in Week 7, Dan Quinn is still the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons for the time being.

As frustrated as the team and fans are, it’s fair to assume Quinn is even more frustrated as he is coaching with his job on the line. During a radio interview with 92.9 The Game, he was asked about the decision Arthur Blank will have to make if this team can’t turn things around.

Quinn’s response was that of a man who knows his days are numbered if he can’t get the Falcons back on track:

Blank has stood by his head coach thus far, but if things continue in this direction, the Falcons owner will have no choice but to make a change.

Until that change is made, though, let’s not pretend that Quinn is unaware of the situation he’s in. He wants this team to win just as bad as anyone.

Quinn’s mentor, Pete Carroll, brings his 5-2 Seattle Seahawks to Atlanta in Week 8.
