Falcons coach Dan Quinn says center Alex Mack will play on Sunday

The Falcons got some good injury news on Thursday when All-Pro center Alex Mack returned to practice after sitting out on Wednesday.

Mack was limited in his return as he recovers from an elbow injury that he suffered during the team’s Week 4 loss to the Titans.

According to head coach Dan Quinn, Mack is good to go for this Sunday’s road game against the Houston Texans, as reported by Falcons reporter William McFadden below.

Mack’s presence will be crucial as Atlanta is already without guard Chris Lindstrom (broken foot) and possibly Jamon Brown (concussion) as well.

Check back soon for the team’s complete Week 5 injury report after Friday’s practice.
