Falcons are once again big underdogs against the Buccaneers

If the last four weeks were any indication as to how Sunday’s game is going to go, then the Falcons are in trouble. During that stretch, Atlanta is 2-2 but the team’s only wins came against opponents with losing records. Tampa Bay comes to town in Week 13 with an 8-3 record.

Per the oddsmakers at Tipico Sportsbook, the Falcons are 10.5-point underdogs against the Buccaneers. This is two points lower than the spread from Week 2 when these two teams faced off in Tampa. The Buccaneers may have covered in their win, but at one point late in the game, Atlanta was in position to pull off the upset before two straight interceptions in the fourth quarter.

Against the Spread

  • Falcons: +10.5, -108 (Wager $108 to win $100; cash out: $208)

Money Line

  • Falcons: +420 (Wager $100 to win $420; cash out: $520)

Over/Under

  • Over: 50.5 points -112 (Wager $112 to win $100: cash out: $212)
  • Under: 50.5 points -108 (Wager $108 to win $100; cash out: $208)

Where to put your money in Week 13

  • UNDER total points 50.5: -108

The Falcons scored three times a week ago, breaking a stretch of two games where they didn’t get the ball into the endzone at all, but that was against a Jacksonville team much worse than Tampa Bay. Scoring 25 points against this Bucs’ defense again is going to be difficult.

  • Buccaneers alternate SPREAD -13.5: +115

If the Buccaneers get on top early, don’t expect the Falcons to make any sort of real push to get themselves back into the game, especially if Pitts isn’t involved like a week ago. Lacking true perimeter threats will allow teams to take Pitts away as an option for QB Matt Ryan.
