The Atlanta Falcons have announced their inactive list for their Sunday Night Football clash with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Offensive linemen John Wetzel and Matt Gono were never expected to play in the first place, as Gono was listed as out with a back injury and Wetzel was just re-signed this week due to Chris Lindstrom’s broken foot. Defensive tackle Deadrin Senat is dealing with a back issue and was unlikely to play after being inactive last week.
Cornerback Jordan Miller, wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus, and running backs Brian Hill and Qadree Ollison being out is no surprise as they are in the 47-53 range of talent on the roster.
The Falcons will be fighting to avoid an 0-2 start to the season, so hopefully these decisions don’t come back to bite them.
