The Falcons have reportedly agreed to terms with free-agent cornerback Darqueze Dennard to fill their void for a veteran CB, reports NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Dennard is a former first-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2014, and gives Atlanta a starting-caliber veteran to help guide the team’s extremely young secondary.
The 28-year-old has spent his entire career with the Bengals, starting 24 games, with three interceptions, 274 tackles (200 solo), three sacks and 22 passes defended over six seasons.
Terms of the deal haven’t yet been released.
