Falcons fans will have to wait a while longer for the 2019 debut of middle linebacker Deion Jones. While he’s been ramping up at practice, Jones has been ruled out for tonight’s third preseason game against the Jets, along with nine others.

There are no surprises, here. Kenjon Barner suffered an ankle injury at practice on Monday – the others are all working their way back from minor issues.
Rookie OT Kaleb McGary is the exception – he’s recovering from a heart procedure. With McGary and John Wetzel both out, this could be a big opportunity for Matt Gono to get a lot of snaps.
