Architect Falconer Chester Hall has relocated its Manchester office to a larger site in Ancoats, and provided key updates to city projects it is working on.
The firm has moved its city HQ from The Lightwell on Brown Street to a fully-serviced office in Jactin House on Hood Street, which it says will provide a state-of-the-art, open-plan working environment with the opportunity for future growth.
The move also ensures workplace Covid-19 guidance can be followed.
Gareth Jones, associate director and lead of the Manchester studio, said: "The office move is a key part of our strategic growth plan and enables us to meet the demand for our services. It’s been an exciting time over the last 12 months despite the challenges that Covid-19 has presented.
"We are committed to Manchester and the surrounding area."
Mr Jones also gave updates on three large-scale Manchester projects it's working on:
- Bengal Street: a mixed use commercial and residential development for The Northern Group – due for completion 2021
- Dale Street: a mixed use scheme for Kamani Group due to complete end of summer 2020
- Dock 5, Ordsall: One of the largest PRS schemes in the North West for ForViva due for completion in 2023
Mr Jones added: “The new office space allows us to provide a better environment for our team and we’ve had an open dialogue with the team regarding the move, our COVID-19 policy and the new offices provide a great, safe environment.
"Working remotely has not been without its challenges, everyone’s work extremely hard over the last few months and it will be great to have the team back together.
"Jactin House offers a collaborative environment to work in, a vibrant part of Manchester – Ancoats.
“We are encouraging our team to cycle in where possible and will continue to consult with them regarding flexible working hours,” added Gareth.
