'Fake news!' Barcelona striker Luis Suarez rejects talk that Juventus transfer has been agreed

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has rejected reports that he has agreed a move to Juventus.

The Uruguayan forward has been told he is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou by new Barca coach Ronald Koeman and is a transfer target for the Italian champions.

But claims emanating from Italy on Wednesday that a move to Turin is complete appear to be premature after a post by the 33-year-old on Instagram.

Alongside a picture of him smiling broadly in training for Barca, Suarez wrote: "While fake news come out..."

And below that, he placed two emojis alongside the word "me", to show he was taking the reports in good humour.

Suarez is thought to be considering his options and Standard Sport understands he has not yet agreed a move to Juventus, although a transfer could still go ahead in the coming days.

Since signing from Liverpool in the summer of 2014, Suarez has scored 198 goals in 283 appearances for Barcelona.
