The joy of reading the line-up for the Fake Festival UK tour is half the fun - but the soaring popularity of tribute acts proves that they also put on a great show!
After announcing a sell-out at the Tynemouth gig in Percy Park RFC, organisers are now heading across the Tyne to South Shields .
The show will be staged inside a giant marquee at Bents Park, South Shields, where South Tyneside Council's summer festival of free gigs also takes place.
The six professional fake bands performing are headliners Oasish (Oasis) - who lovea a singalong, as you can see in the video from a previous performance elsewhere.
Also appearing are The Fillers (Killers), Stereotonics (Stereophonics), Really Hot (Red Hot) Chili Peppers, Guns2Roses (Guns N Roses) and Blondied (Blondie).
Food and drink?
The event includes traders selling food such as pizza, burgers and jacket potatoes and there is a large licensed bar and drinks costing £3.50 for a pint, or spirit and mixer.
Weather permitting, there are also stalls, children's rides or inflatables and face painting.
So when is it?
The event takes place on Saturday, June 8 from 12.30pm, with Oasish on at 9.15pm. Early-bird tickets are on sale here until May 8. with £5 off the standard price.
