Fake "coronavirus" tweet suspends live show

The Shibuya Police Station of the Metropolitan Police Department announced Monday the arrest of a 30-year-old man in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo, on suspicion of falsely posting on social media that he was infected with the new coronavirus while interrupting a live idol show.

According to the police, the man, allegedly after posting "I just recovered from Coronavirus. Nice to meet you all today." on his Twitter account on Sunday, visited a concert hall in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, where idols perform, and interrupted the concert for about 15 minutes.

The man, found by his acquaintance, was questioned by the organizer and admitted that his "I lied about being infected." Police are investigating the individual's motive.
