Faith and money discussion tonight

I should have put up this important news earlier, but if there is anyone in London with an evening to spare tonight, they could do much worse than head to St Paul's cathedral, where there is a public debate on "Money, a Crisis of Value" with a very starry cast indeed, including John Mickelthwait, the editor of the Economist, Paul Tucker, the deputy governor of the Bank of England, and chaired by Richard Chartres, the bishop of London.

Admission is free and unticketed, from 6pm onwards. The event itself runs from 6.30 to 8 pm.

This is the first of a number of events organised by our own Giles Fraser, now a Canon of the cathedral, and we will advise of later ones in a more timely fashion. Honest, Giles.
