Fairytale of New York inspired beer on sale in Newcastle for Christmas

For many people is is quite simply the best Christmas song ever and Fairtytale of New York is now the inspiration for a beer that has just gone on sale in Newcastle.

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without plenty of bursts of the classic track well now you can do that while supping on a pint of Fairytale of Brew York, which is now available at a number of places in Newcastle including The Cluny in Ouseburn and The Purple Bear, just off Northumberland Street in the city centre.

Made by York-based company Beer York, the 4.9% Fairytale of Brew York is a Salted Caramel & Hazelnut Milk Stout, made with oat milk so it's suitable for vegans and it is available in casks, kegs and cans.

Why not have a sip in between belting out the famous lines from the song. Altogether now "and the bells were ringing out for Christmas day!"
