Fair City has been off TV screens for months and fans are eagerly awaiting its return as the show begins filming once again in the coming months.
The soap initially closed up production on April 12 when the coronavirus pandemic first hit.
However the showrunners have made sure they have implemented strict new for everyone on set in order to ensure public health guidelines are being adhered to.
An under the new rules viewers won't see residents of Carrigstown sitting down for a pint as there will be no more pub scenes.
There'll also be a smaller number of people in each scene to adhere to social distancing while just one couple will be allowed to kiss on screen.
Speaking on Virgin Media's Six O'Clock Show Fair City stars Bryan Murray and Una Crawford O'Brien who play the roles of Renee and Bob on the show, lifted the lid on how the show might look upon its return.
Una said: "We got a booklet of about twenty pages telling is the new rules and regulations and it all sounds great.
Bryan and Una are in face the one couple who will be allowed to lock lips as the pair are a couple in real life.
Una explained: "The only ones that can actually kiss each other are us.
"It all sounds great and there will a smaller cast from what we can gather and there will be the social distancing of course.
"There will be a man with a big stick that's two metres, making sure that everyone's two metres apart.
"I don't think there will be pub scenes because of social distancing."
Presenter Martin King jokingly added: "Unless they're serving food they're not suppose to be open!"
Una added that Fair City "will reflect what's happening at the moment and that's good, that's important."
An exact date for Fair City's return has yet to be given but executive producer Brigie de Courcy told RTE Radio One that she hopes the show will return to filming "very soon."
