Fair City Spoilers: Paul agrees to let Niamh see Ruth - but with major strings attached

Hughie and Erica are both left feeling helpless when their big plans don't work out in tonght's episode of Fair City.

Erica feels left out when she sees Dearbhla helping Doug with his selling skills. 

But she tries to be useful in her own way by going suit shopping with Doug. 

Fair City Spoilers: Is it make or break time for Hughie and Jackie?  

Unfortunately, the suit turns out to be a disaster - but Dearbhla saves the day and gets the praise.

However, big-hearted Doug doesn't forget to acknowledge Erica's help, so everyone's happy!

Meanwhile, even though Junior is allowed home for a couple of days, Wayne becomes more pessimistic about his future. 

Pete and Dolores know Wayne is planning something - and when he reveals why he was talking to Killian Hurley, Pete is alarmed. 

Then, to Wayne's distress, Killian plugs the plug on the idea. 

Dolores tells Orla and Wayne to have faith in the legitimate surrogacy, but Orla is not convinced. 

They are both forced to admit what the future may bring.

Elsewhere, Melanie is cool with Paul. 

Callum suggests that if Niamh really wanted to help she should sign over her share of Vino’s to Paul. 

Seán tells them Niamh will do just that if Paul lets Ruth visits her, but he refuses. 

Paul then changes his mind but insists it's all on his terms, using Ruth as leverage. 

He gets his way - but it’s bittersweet.

In other Carrigstown news, Hughie feels shut out after interrupting an intimate conversation between Jackie and Pete. 

Following Ellie’s advice, Hughie organises a salsa class for himself and Jackie. 

However, any hopes of romance are dashed when Jackie sprains her ankle at the class.
