It looks like Hughie is setting himself up for trouble this week on Fair City as Will is ready and waiting to take advantage.
Having been left all alone after the trial, with his family and friends deserting him, Will is desperate in tonight's episode.
And after spotted a weakness in Hughie, Will amps up his plan to suck him in, as Hughie grows concerned about his drinking.
Will hatches a plan to feed off Hughie’s desire to help and asks Hughie about his alcoholism.
Pretending to be drunk, he tells Hughie he can’t stop.
"I can smell the booze off your breath," Hughie tells Will.
"No, look, it's... It's nothing," Will replies.
"I can't, ok?" says Will. "I can't stop."
Will is pleased at how his manipulation of Hughie is working.
And an unsuspecting Hughie continues to offer his support.
"I'll be here if you want to stop," offers Hughie.
Will then tells Mairead the house will be sold one way or another and manipulates Hughie to help him any way he can.
Meanwhile, Michelle wonders why Seán is acting coldly and Pete tells Seán about his cash deal with Vinny for the extra lodgers.
Pete is then left dismayed when Seán informs him he’s moved out of Number 41.
Elsewhere, Sharon boosts Lee’s confidence as he prepares for his meeting with the investor. She also ensures the rest of the family give Lee the support he needs and celebrations are in order when Lee lands a large investment.
