Fair City spoilers: A surprise guest at Christmas dinner causes Hayley to storm out

As Doug pines after Erica, she finds herself finally coming to a decision, and the two end up moving things up a gear in the garage.

A guilty Erica tries to come clean to Darragh but fails and instead tells Dearbhla about her intimate time with Doug.

Dearbhla tells Erica to stick to her plan despite failing to come clean to Darragh.

She does to tell him but then feels trapped when Darragh tells her what’s happened with Ger.

Darragh struggles as he tries to take in the truth about Hayley and Ger.

The Collinses hear that Ger has left Carrigstown for the day but her plans are changed after she finds her tyres slashed.

Anto is surprised when he bumps into a lonely Ger and feels sorry for her.

Drama erupts at Christmas dinner when Sharon and Hayley are horrified as Anto brings Ger with him.

Hayley ends up storming out with Anto rushing after her. He tries to persuade Hayley to come home.

Meanwhile Orla tries to calm her fears over Sash’s return and hides her feelings when Dolores has a gift for the surrogacy baby.

Decco shows Sash his support while Wayne assures her that he and Orla will keep their distance.

Decco invites Dolores and the family to have Christmas dinner with him and Sash but things quickly veer south as Sash and Orla clash.

And at dinner Dolores innocently toasts to a baby she doesn’t realise is Sash’s.

Sash and Orla manage to come to an understanding and Orla is worried that Wayne is veering off plan.

Bosco and Rose work to brighten Eoghan’s Christmas as he faces a tough day.

Dolores helps Bosco with his surprise for Eoghan.

But Rose unfortunately trips a fuse and plunges the entire house into darkness.

With Bosco’s help, the O’Briens make the best of things and Eoghan gets into the Christmas spirit.
