Fair City: Cian caught out over drugging as Tommy spots clue whilst Dermot does some digging

It's been a tense few weeks in Carrigstown and it is set to amp up even more tonight as Tommy starts to sniff out Cian's guilt.

It all kicks off as Dearbhla, intimidated by Claire’s warnings, decides not to pursue any allegations against Cian.

But Alex urges her to reconsider pressing charges.

Dearbhla pleads with Tommy and Alex to respect her wishes and accuses Alex of only wanting to clear his name.

Cian puts his own foot in it when he makes reference to Dearbhla’s travel mug when discussing the drugging with Tommy, inadvertently revealing his involvement.

Tommy vows to go to the guards with this new information, but Claire insists it will not stand in court.

But when Cian admits to Claire that he is guilty of drugging Dearbhla, she drops him as a client.

Tommy promises Dearbhla he’ll leave Cian alone, but reveals to Jane that he had other ideas. And Cian receives a text from his mother informing him that she’s returning home.

Elsewhere, Erica and Doug settle in at Sharon’s and learn of the pressure that Sharon is under with Anto.

Erica gifts Pete a photograph of him with baby Nora and asks him to babysit when she and Dolores take Sharon out for the night. Sharon tries to hide the pressure she’s under.

But later on, a sweet moment between Pete and baby Nora reminds Sharon of what she is missing in her own life.

Later on, Dermot questions Rafferty on James’ whereabouts, seemingly looking for information on his investment in the development.

He then approaches Rafferty again about his “investment” but when pressed, gives him a false name.

When Rafferty questions James on Dermot’s identity, James insists he doesn’t know who he is.

Unsure of Dermot’s motives, Rafferty advises James to contact him if Dermot shows up to the site again.
