And after a tumultuous few weeks for everyone involved on the RTE soap, all will finally be revealed in the upcoming episodes as the killer struggles to keep the secret any longer.

Here's a reminder of the key suspects since the beginning.

Meet the Suspects

Viewers have seen the aftermath of Dearbhla’s drink spiking incident and how it affected her dad Tommy and her brother Zak.

Did Tommy kill Cian to make him pay for drugging his daughter? Or was it Zak because Cian provided evidence that had him sent to jail? Fans know Zak and Tommy are determined to settle scores with Cian for his spiking of Dearbhla.

Viewers also know Damien held Cian responsible for the accident that almost cost him his life. Was Damien’s near-death incident a reason to make Cian pay for this?

Another possible suspect is Alex. After he helped Dearbhla when her drink was spiked, he was publicly accused of spiking her drink even though it was Cian. He was also abused online as a result.

Meanwhile, Tommy and Zak insist that they saw someone fleeing the scene of the crime. Tommy claims he found Cian already dead and was trying to help him which is why he has blood on his hands and clothes.

The question is, who did they see, or did they actually see anyone?

And who else would have motive to murder Cian?

Fans can find out what happens next in Thursday night's Fair City on RTÉ One at 8:30pm.
