Failed Rangers signing Sam Lammers is believed to have been told he can leave FC Twente.
The Dutch forward was signed for the Ibrox club by Michael Beale in 2023, making the move from Atalanta.
Amid a poor start to the season, Lammers was one of the biggest sinners in the eyes of the support as he struggled to live up to the hype from pre-season.
He scored just twice in 32 appearances for the club before being shipped out on loan to Utrecht in the winter window. A more productive spell there put a number of clubs on alert and it was Twente who eventually signed him permanently.

His first season there saw him find the net nine times and he followed that up with six in the campaign just gone.
However, it would seem he now finds himself surplus to requirements.
De Telegraaf is reporting that, with just a year left on his contract, the 29-year-old has been advised himself to find a new club.
Twente are keen to cash in on him and replace him with PSV Eindhoven's Jesper Uneken, according to the report.
