Facundo Pellistri and Raphael Varane start as Man United fans name XI they want to see vs Fulham

Manchester United supporters are hoping Erik ten Hag names a strong starting line-up for the FA Cup clash with Fulham on Sunday.

The Reds, who won the Carabao Cup last month, are still in the hunt to win two more trophies this term, with Ten Hag's men in contention to lift the FA Cup and Europa League.

United cruised into the quarter-finals of the Europa League after defeating Real Betis in their last-16 tie, while they can progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a victory over fellow Premier League outfit Fulham at Old Trafford.

With the Reds having the opportunity to reach another semi-final, United fans are keen for Ten Hag to go strong with his team selection. Here's how MEN Sport readers think the team should line up against the London outfit:

Goalkeeper - David de Gea

Having played in every FA Cup game so far this season, it would certainly come as a surprise to see David de Gea miss out against Fulham on Sunday. United fans are keen for their first-choice goalkeeper to get the nod in goal.

Defenders - Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw

Supporters believe that Aaron Wan-Bissaka deserves to start for Ten Hag's side, while Luke Shaw has been backed to start at left-back over Tyrell Malacia. Shaw is rested from midweek and will almost certainly come back in, whereas his fellow English defender will be keen to continue playing ahead of Diogo Dalot.

At the heart of defence, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have been backed to play. They are the favoured pairing and United might opt to go with their strongest backline as they look to win the game in 90 minutes.

Midfielders - Fred, Bruno Fernandes, Marcel Sabitzer

With Casemiro suspended - and Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek still injured - Ten Hag is really struggling for options in the middle of the park. Marcel Sabitzer returned to action against Betis in midweek, and United fans are keen for the loanee to start with their Brazilian enforcer out of action.

Bruno Fernandes, as he does in pretty much every game, is likely to feature and should have Fred alongside him in the engine room against Marco Silva's men.

Forwards - Facundo Pellistri, Wout Weghorst, Marcus Rashford

Having made his first start for the club on Thursday night, Facundo Pellistri will be desperate to start against Fulham - and United fans have called for that to happen. He impressed against Betis and played the full 90 minutes, and with Alejandro Garnacho out injured, he will be needed in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford was once again on target in midweek and will be keen to continue his fine goalscoring run. Up front, Wout Weghorst has been picked to play ahead of Anthony Martial, with the Frenchman continuing his comeback from injury.
