A media briefing on the Giants and Tokyo Dome digital transformation project, which was launched this month by the Yomiuri Giants as a countermeasure against the novel coronavirus, was held Saturday at Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.

In addition to admission controls using facial recognition, the event demonstrated using the technology for payments at shops, mobile ordering that allows fans to order boxed lunches and drinks using their smartphones, and automatic gates at the entrance using barcode recognition.
