Faces of teenagers missing from Merseyside as police issue appeals

UPDATE: Madison Jordan has been found safe and well

Police are trying to track down two teenagers who are missing from Merseyside.

The teenagers disappeared from their homes in unrelated incidents and efforts are ongoing to find them. The first appeal was issued by Cheshire Police this week following the disappearance of 16-year-old Ellis Clegg.

Ellis has been missing from home since August 17, and was last seen at around 1.30pm at Lime Street Station in Liverpool city centre. He is described as a white male, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with brown eyes and brown hair.

Chief Inspector Caroline Mullen-Hurst said: “Ellis has links to the Runcorn area of Cheshire, the Llangollen area of North Wales and Grimsby in Humberside. We’d urge anyone who sees Ellis, or knows of his whereabouts to contact police.”

Madison Jordan, 17, is also missing from her home in Rainhill. Madison was last seen at an address on Tasker Terrace at 1.10am on Thursday morning, September 1.

The 17-year-old is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair. She is known to travel to Wrexham, Liverpool, Wavertree and Skelmersdale.

Anyone who has seen Madison or knows of her whereabouts is urged to DM @MerPolCC or call 101 as soon as possible. Sightings can also be reported via https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/

Anyone who has seen Ellis or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary online or by calling 101 and quoting IML 1344925.
