Face of man who could be sent to jail if he enters Long Eaton town centre

A man has been told he could face a prison sentence if he steps foot in Long Eaton town centre.

Jordan Werkowski Freeman, who lives in Long Eaton, has been placed under a three-year Criminal Behaviour order following thefts from shops and repeated begging.

The order prohibits Jordan Werkowski Freeman, of Co Operative Street, Long Eaton, from entering the town centre and if he does so he could face a prison sentence.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said: "Police officers can arrest Mr Werkowski Freeman if he breaches this order, which remains in place until 31 August 2024.

"A CBO can be issued by any criminal court against a person who has been convicted of an offence. It can be used to tackle the most persistent."
