Fabulosa £1 kitchen spray left my dirty hob looking 'like a mirror'

Anyone else let their kitchen hob get greasy and grimy without even realising?

I’m extremely guilty of this, and no matter how many times I scrub it with surface spray, some of the nastiness just won’t shift. I’ve tried countless different products, and although they offer a short term solution, I’m after something much more long lasting.

I’ve been a big fan of Fabulosa for some time now, and after testing out its £1.50 room spray and ‘Marc Jacobs dupe’ surface spray, I was after something to sort out this rather embarrassing hob of mine. The Fabulosa ‘spotless kitchen’ range is said to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria, dirt, grease and grime.

According to the product description, it can also be used on cookers, sinks, bins, kitchen surfaces, cupboards and drawers, making it an all round handy product. Available in plenty of different scents including ‘apple zing’ and ‘cherry discovery’, I used the ‘pink bubblegum’ scent in my kitchen.

First impressions? I loved the packaging, as with all the Fabulosa products, it had a cute girly charm that lures me in every single time. I sprayed the product onto my hob and let it sit for five minutes, and the sweet refreshing smell filled my kitchen within seconds.

The new pink bubblegum scent isn’t currently listed on the website, but I can tell you that it smells absolutely incredible. It’s not too sweet or sickly, it’s just the right amount of fragrance you want in your kitchen without making your eyes water!

As per instructions, I left the product to soak in for five minutes to really help it tackle the muck and grime. I got a damp cloth and wiped away the excess product after the time was up, and I was amazed.

It was like looking into a mirror. My hob was left with such a shine, something I’ve never been able to achieve with my usual Dettol kitchen spray.

Don’t get me wrong, it didn’t remove any marks or scratches, but it did a damn good job at making my kitchen look as good as new. The best part? The scent still lasted afterwards for a good couple of hours, giving my kitchen a lovely fresh feel.

For someone that’s pretty lazy when it comes to keeping on top of my kitchen, I’m chuffed that I’ve found a quick solution that smells amazing. You can purchase the Fabulosa ‘spotless kitchen’ spray here and from Wilko here.
