Fabio Paratici outlined what his role as Tottenham new managing director of football will entail.
Spurs fans have been left disappointed in recent months given speculation surrounding Harry Kane and their ongoing search for a new manager.
However, the club have finally have confirmed that the Italian has been appointed managing director of the club's football operations, with the former Juve man set to take on the role from July 1.
Upon the announcement of his appointment, Paratici detailed what his new role in north London will be and what joining Spurs means to him.
"I did this job for a lot of years in Juventus. It was a fantastic experience and helped to manage the football department, so first team, recruitment, academy, women", he told the club's website.
"For me, football is not just a job, it is my life and I think 24 hours a day about football, so I think it is my first skill and I hope to arrive to this kind of level for Spurs."
Paratici also had a message for Spurs fans as he thanked the club for the welcome he has received, adding that he hopes to help Tottenham to success and to end their long wait for a trophy.
"Thank you for receiving me in your family," he said.
"This is a great opportunity for me and what we can promise is to work hard every day to arrive on our targets. This is what we have to do.
"It is a big experience and I am so happy for this new experience, and it gives me power, motivation, and I hope to give to Spurs my passion, my time and to build something very good and better than we have done before."
Paratici will hope to turn things around in north London as the club have failed to win a trophy since 2008.
