Fabio Paratici eyes Fenerbache star as Tottenham target makes honest transfer admission

Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Thursday, November 25, as Spurs prepare to face NS Mura in the Europa Conference League tonight.

Paratici eyes Fenerbache defender

According to Fotospor, via HITC, Tottenham are preparing to make a bid for Kim Min-jae as Fabio Paratici looks to find defensive reinforcements for Antonio Conte.

The South Korean centre-back has been linked with a move to north London before but a deal never materialised.

However, the report states that the Turkish giants want €20million (£17million) for the defender.

Bergwijn issue

Steven Bergwijn has not travelled to Slovenia for Tottenham's Europa Conference League clash against NS Mura.

The Dutchman was not involved in Tottenham training on Wednesday morning and has not made the trip with the rest of his teammates.

A regular in the team under Nuno Espirito Santo at the start of the season until he picked up an injury on international duty in September, Bergwijn has yet to play under Conte since he was appointed as Spurs head coach at the start of the month.

Torres transfer admission

Villarreal defender Pau Torres has admitted that the chance to play in the Champions League was a bigger pull than a move away from the club in the summer.

Tottenham were said to have made a €60million (£50million) offer for the 24-year-old in the summer, however he opted to stay with the Yellow Submarine.

Speaking to The Guardian on the transfer links in the summer, the defender said: "The pull of playing the Champions League with the team from my town was bigger.

"I was clear from the start. This is only the fourth time Villarreal reached the Champions League, which shows how hard it is and it was a dream to play the competition with my lifelong club."
